Our Great Escape, LLC (OGE) Cancellation Policy:

Booking/Security Deposit:  A Rental Agreement outlining OGE's TERMS AND CONDITIONS will be mailed to Renter; it must be signed, initialed, returned, AND received along with a Booking/Security deposit of $500.00 within 14 days of Renter making the reservation (only the Renter can pay the Security Deposit); if these terms and conditions are not met, OGE reserves the right to cancel the Renter’s reservation. 

Cancellation: Written notice of Renter's intent to cancel is required. A written cancellation request received from the time of booking to 90 days prior to arrival date, and if the property CAN be re-rented will result in a $200 service fee being assessed and any remainder of the Booking/Security Deposit refunded after any discounts to re-rent the property have been deducted.  If the property CANNOT be re-rented the Booking/Security Deposit will be forfeited in its’ entirety.

 

 

Final Payment: Receipt of Final payment (payment in full) is due 90 days prior to Renter's scheduled arrival date and only the Renter can pay the Final Payment. If payment in full is not received between booking date and 90 days prior to the scheduled arrival date, on day 89 prior to scheduled arrival date OGE reserves the right to cancel the Renter's reservation and the Booking/Security Deposit will be forfeited in its’ entirety. 

Cancellation: Written notice of Renter’s intent to cancel is required. If written intent to cancel is received less than 90 days prior to scheduled arrival date, and if the property CAN be re-rented, all rental fees/sales taxes collected to re-rent the property will be returned after any discounts to re-rent the property have been deducted, and the entire Booking/Security Deposit will be forfeited.  If the property CANNOT be re-rented the entire rental fees/sales taxes collected will be forfeited, and the Booking/Security Deposit returned in its’ entirety. 

 

Occupancy: No refunds will be given for late Renter arrival to the property, and/or, upon occupancy by the Renter, no refunds given for early departure from the property for any reason(s) including medical emergencies. 

 

 

Booking/Security Deposit/Final Payment Cancellation Exceptions:

(1) If written intent to cancel is received less than 90 days, but more than 60 days prior to scheduled arrival date due to a life threatening medical reason(s) directly affecting Renter, or a family medical emergency directly involving Renter’s spouse or children that Renter has legal guardianship of, AND if the property CAN be re-rented, the Booking/Security Deposit less $250 service fee and any discounts offered to re-rent the property will be returned along with all remaining rental fess/taxes collected.  If the property CANNOT be re-rented, the entire Booking/Security Deposit will be forfeited along with 50% of all rental fees/sales taxes collected and remaining monies will be returned to Renter.  Acceptable proof of Renter’s major medical condition, or family medical emergency, must be provided at time of written request.   

(2) If written intent to cancel is received less than 60 days prior to scheduled arrival date due to a life threatening medical reason(s) directly affecting Renter, or a family medical emergency directly involving Renter’s spouse or children that Renter has legal guardianship of, AND if property CAN be re-rented, Booking/Security Deposit less a $250 service fee and any discounts offered to re-rent property will be returned along with all rental fees/taxes collected.  If the property CANNOT be re-rented, the entire Rental fees/sales taxes collected will be forfeited, and the Booking/Security Deposit with be returned in its’ entirety.  Acceptable proof of Renter’s major medical condition, or family medical emergency, must be provided at time of written request.

 

NOTE: OGE recommends that Renter purchase Trip Insurance if Renter is concerned about OGE’s Cancellation Policy or is concerned about the possibility of cancelling their reservation with OGE.
