26. Neighborhood Etiquette

Please take due care to show respect to OGE’s neighbors whether human, furry, or feathered.  Many of our forest/lake neighbors are protected under Federal law.  OGE asks that you be especially kind to the family of loons that like to hang out in front of our dock- they are a rare and endangered species.  Rental parties with children should discuss with them the dangers of feeding any wild animals that might wander onto the property.  OGE does not recommend feeding wild animals, or sleeping outside at night.  Renter and guests should be advised that any and all medical bills to include testing, shots, etc. of guests or animals/birds are the Renter’s/guests full responsibility.  Renter should further be advised that Sawyer County does not pay for rabies testing; payment for testing is the Renter’s/guests full responsibility and it is expensive.  In addition, do not exceed the 15 MPH road speed limit; our neighbors like to go for walks, kids like to ride bikes, and OGE’s furry friends like to scurry about.  In addition, Renter or his/her guests shall not disturb neighbors with loud noise, music, or unlawful, unsafe, and/or pollution causing behavior.   Absolutely no firearms or fireworks are allowed on the premises.  Violation of this policy is grounds for eviction without refund and forfeiture of Security Deposit and all rental monies.
