If your desire is to escape the fast-paced craziness of today’s world and take a step back in time to a simpler way of life, then OGE is the vacation destination for you!   

OGE is located just 16 miles East of Hayward, WI on Hwy 77 (The Great Scenic Byway) then 8 miles north on Upper “A.”  Nostalgic Hayward is noted for its’ charming shops, National Fresh Water Fishing Hall of Fame, numerous festivals, and attractions.  Check out the Hayward Lakes Visitors and Convention Bureau or the Hayward Area Chamber of Commerce links for current happenings and information.  There is also a full-service convenience/bait and tackle store just a short 7-mile drive away for those last minute shopping needs including gas for your boat or auto.  Also nearby are several dining clubs, golf courses, marinas, and a casino for your dining and recreational pleasures.

The upscale Ranch style lakehome sits just 50 feet back from 183 feet of sugar sand beach featuring a Western view of soaring bald eagles, loons, and spectacular sunsets.  OGE's panoramic front porch is nestled in Wilson Bay just inside Green Point on the quiet waters of Lost Land Lake, and the Chequamegon National Forest is our surrounding Northwoods home.  Lost Land Lake is a 1304-acre gem connected by thoroughfare to 1049-acre Teal Lake; they are the “Quiet Lakes”.   Referred to as the “Quiet Lakes because there is a 10mph speed limit and no wake within 100’ of the shoreline, and motor sports to include water-skiing, jet-skiing, and tubing, are not allowed, nor is motor trolling. 

Included in your rental is a 40’ long dock with bench seat for summer night stargazing, swimming, and lounging.  Also included are your own private boat launch, and a 14’ V-hull 4-seat Alumacraft boat.  Additional boat, boat motor, or pontoon rental is available from Wilson Bay Lodge just 5 minutes away by boat or car. 

So, whether you are an avid fisherman, nature lover, canoe or kayak enthusiast, or just want to unwind, it's all waiting for you… not just outside, but inside as well.  It is our desire that you experience the peace and quiet of lake living during your stay, while having all the comforts of home.   

The house is 1½ story's with all rooms on one level with the exception of a bedroom loft that overlooks the Great Room with its two-story river rock fireplace, and a finished full-service laundry room located in the basement.  The open-floor plan is conducive to entertaining, socializing, and special needs; with views of the lake from almost every room.  In fact, the West facing windows and French doors in the kitchen, Great Room, and one of two master en-suite bedrooms, bring the outdoors in to you. 

The gourmet kitchen has all the expected conveniences and much more, including stainless appliances and a large center island with seating for four.  An adjacent dining area features a large table with seating for up to ten, and there are four good size bedrooms - two with en-suite bathrooms, and a third bathroom between two bedrooms.
